Retail Associate(part/full time)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Utmost priority is providing each customer with a tailored shopping experience(welcoming, friendly, interactive)

• Welcome each customer with a friendly and helpful attitude

• Assist customers with the perfect gift or clothing for their needs

• Work to convert browsing customers into sales

• Work with supervisors and managers in organization/display of merchandise

• Completion of required daily tasks such as daily cleaning, POS system for check out and inventory availability, cash drawer maintenance, counting and business SOP’s(standard operating procedures)

• Adhere to company policies

• Lifting of boxes, steaming of merchandise, continual standing or moving around, proper COVID-19 safety regulations

• Communication, ability to manager multi tasks at time, general customer service knowledge, ability to follow through with required work and to allow to be trained in all aspects of the position

Requirements:

• Preferred 1 years experience in the retail industry as a retail floor associate or customer service associate familiar with customer interaction, POS system utilization, and general retail skills

• Preferred high school diploma or GED certificate

• Minimum age requirement of 17 years of age

Skills:

• Provide customers with a great shopping experience(which starts with you)

• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, reach for extend periods of time

• Excellent communication skills with customers and other team members

• Knowledge on simple math and logical reasoning

• Occasional climbing of a small ladder

• Able to work weekdays/weekends/holidays

• Able to frequently lift 25 lbs. And on occasional instances lift 45lbs.

• Work with your hands and senses to help organize store merchandise as directed

• Follow company policies

• Preferred Computer skills (POS program, email, etc.)
